Lomilomi Workshop OfferingsWorkshops are designed around the needs of the group, organization, spa, or individual host. Options may range from a half-day introduction to a full-day workshop, multi-day training, or a more immersive retreat experience.
Offerings may include Basic Lomilomi, Advanced Lomilomi, Spa Lomilomi, Chair Massage, and customized workshops created around specific learning goals.
-
Depending on the workshop, topics may include the history and meaning of lomilomi, foundational principles, body mechanics, hands-on techniques, sequencing, practical application, and ways to adapt lomilomi for different settings. Workshops can also include spa-based applications, chair massage, and more advanced therapeutic approaches.
Each workshop is tailored to the experience level, interests, and goals of the participants.
-
Participants receive printed handouts and guided hands-on instruction throughout the workshop. Sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and enjoyable, with plenty of opportunity to practice, ask questions, and learn through experience.
-
Workshops are offered at a venue provided by the host or organizing group. This allows the training to be brought directly to spas, wellness teams, private groups, organizations, or retreat settings.
-
Continuing education credits are not currently offered. Work is underway toward future continuing education approval, and updates will be shared as they become available.
Certificates of completion will be provided upon successful completion of the workshop.
-
No two groups are exactly alike. Workshops can be customized based on time, experience level, setting, and learning goals—from a half-day introduction to multi-day training or retreat-style experiences.
For inquiries, hosts may share the type of group, number of participants, desired workshop length, and areas of interest so a program can be created to fit their needs.
